We are seeking an Associate QA Engineer to join our team. As an Associate QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. You will work closely with development teams to design and execute test plans, identify and report issues, and ensure the timely release of high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with development teams to define and execute test plans for new and existing features
· Identify, document, and track defects and issues using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
· Design and maintain test cases and test data to ensure thorough testing of software applications
· Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues related to quality and testing
· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate communication of quality-related issues
· Analyze and report on testing results to inform development decisions and prioritize defect remediation efforts
· Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness
· Collaborate with other QA team members to share knowledge and best practices
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
· 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or a related field
· Experience with software testing methodologies and tools, such as Selenium, JMeter, or Appium
· Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
· Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data and test application functionality
· Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
